Job summary

ASML US, LP is seeking a Team Lead First Line Support Production Engineer for the Wilton Factory, CT. You will oversee the First Line Support team during shifts, provide technical guidance, and coordinate daily work to meet safety, quality, and production goals.

The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, cross-functional communication with Production Engineering, Manufacturing, and leadership, and coaching of engineers and technicians to improve capability and execution.

Qualifications

5+ years of work experience in a high-tech production or manufacturing environment, preferably with hands-on engineering support in optical fabrication, assembly, or advanced manufacturing.
Bachelor Degree in engineering discipline with 2+ years of experience in production or Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience leading daily work coordination, prioritizing tasks, and supporting shift execution in a dynamic production environment.
Strong problem-solving, structured troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, containment and follow-through to closure.
Experience coaching, training, mentoring, or providing technical guidance to engineers, technicians, or production employees.
Ability to communicate production risks, disturbances, quality issues, and recovery plans clearly to cross-functional work centers and management.

Responsibilities

Oversee First Line Support personnel during the assigned shift to align resources with production priorities and safety standards.
Provide technical guidance by reviewing disturbances notices and driving timely resolution of production issues.
Coordinate tasks across the shift; ensure proper assignment, prioritization, and progress tracking.
Serve as primary shift contact for escalation, resource alignment, and cross-functional communication with Production Engineering, Manufacturing, and leadership.
Monitor shift progress, identify risks and gaps, and take action to maintain workflow, output, and quality.
Coach, mentor, and on-the-floor guide team members to improve capability and execution.
Escalate structural process issues to the Competency Production Engineering team and support solution space exploration.
Present daily shift reports and quality concerns to support decision-making and improvement actions.
Support root-cause analysis, cycle-time improvements, and updates to work instructions.
Attend cycle-time meetings bi-weekly and relay information down to the team.
Work in a cleanroom environment as needed and participate in on-the-floor troubleshooting.
