Job summary

Murphy USA Inc. is hiring for a part-time Shift Lead in Huntsville, AL. Provide prompt, courteous customer service, assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions, operate the cash register, and support the Store Manager in daily operations.

Lead the team to meet performance goals, keep the store clean and stocked, and handle back‑office duties as needed. Requirements include 18+ (state variations), at least 3 months cashier experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age (state-dependent) and have a HS diploma or GED.
• At least 3 months of cashier experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer experience.
• Respond to and resolve customer requests and concerns.
• Assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operate cash register and handle POS transactions.
• Ensure fuel and merchandise are available for customers.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment.
• Support the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Help lead the team to exceed performance goals and objectives.
• Perform daily/monthly paperwork and training duties as assigned.
