Job summary

DoorDash, Inc. is seeking a proactive Shift Lead for our DashMart local fulfillment center. You will own shifts, manage warehouse and light kitchen tasks, ensure order accuracy, and mentor team members to deliver a high-quality customer experience.

Ideal candidates are physically capable, have a background in food, warehouse, or retail, and hold a high school diploma or GED. Training for food handling will be provided, and ·flexible scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and team-oriented work ethic.
• Experience in food/beverage, warehouse, or retail settings.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jack/hand truck.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a food handling certificate (DoorDash training provided).
• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum age 18.
• Organized with Google Docs and Google Sheets.
• Schedule flexibility and multiple shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Be an Owner: own your shifts, oversee warehouse and kitchen processes, safety, quality and training.
• Delight Customers: ensure accurate orders, communicate issues, and smooth Dasher pickups.
• Lead: guide Operations Associates, ensure safety and productivity, escalate daily operations.
• One Team One Fight: support warehouse and kitchen tasks, lead by example, maintain positive, safe atmosphere.
• Help improve operations: contribute ideas to enhance quality and customer experience.
