Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a Winning Team on each shift, setting a cheerful, can-do tone and directing food service, stocking, and cash handling. You will coach associates in real time and help maintain high standards of guest service, safety, and cleanliness.

With 2–3 years in retail/food service and 1+ year leadership, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, lifting up to 50 lbs and following through on tasks while promoting teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service (preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift and set a positive example.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real time to improve performance and guest experience.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism; escalate when needed.
• Train and guide team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee store processes including inventory, cash wrap, and compliance.
