Job summary

RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc. seeks a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team and create a welcoming guest experience on every shift. You will drive daily store operations, coach staff, and partner with leadership to meet standards in service, food safety, and cleanliness.

You will help develop future leaders, manage inventory and cash processes, and model clear communication and accountability in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift – set the tone with a cheerful, can-do attitude, coach team members in real-time, and address guest concerns with empathy.
• Drive Operational Excellence – train staff to meet service, safety, and cleanliness standards, manage inventory, cash wrap, and documentation.
• Model Communication & Accountability – relay updates from leadership, monitor task completion, and provide feedback to drive results.
• Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and teamwork, stepping in during busy times to show leadership.
