RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a winning team on a fast-paced shift.

You’ll set the tone, coach team members, handle food service tasks, stocking, cleaning, and cash handling, while delivering friendly guest experiences. You’ll drive operational excellence by training staff to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards, managing inventory, promo communication, and shift-change coordination.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in retail, food service, or hospitality.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities with staff at all levels.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• Willingness to obtain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift: set a cheerful, can-do tone; guide food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling; coach team members in real time; address guest concerns with empathy.
• Drive Operational Excellence: train staff to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards; manage inventory, vendor check-in, and promo communication; oversee write-offs, cash wrap, and compliance docs.
• Model Communication & Accountability: relay updates from leadership; monitor task completion; provide feedback to drive results; promote teamwork and accountability.
