RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced store team and deliver exceptional guest service.

In this role you’ll set the tone on your shift, coach teammates, ensure food safety and cleanliness, and handle day-to-day store operations with a focus on performance and guest satisfaction. You’ll develop future leaders through hands-on training, manage inventory and cash-handling processes, and collaborate with store leadership to drive results in a people-first,

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume guest-focused environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks with breaks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift – motivate team, provide direction, assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling, coach team members in real-time, and address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Drive Operational Excellence – train and guide your team to meet service, food safety, and cleanliness standards; oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication; manage key store processes including write-offs, cash wrap, and compliance documentation; lead shift-change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
• Model Communication & Accountability – relay important updates from the leadership team to shift associates, monitor task completion and provide immediate feedback to drive results.
• Support a team culture rooted in accountability, respect, and teamwork; proactively step in during busy times or challenges—showing your team what great leadership looks like.
