Job summary

Peet's Coffee is seeking a Shift Lead in Westwood, MA to manage shifts, serve customers with care, and lead a small team in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a leadership role and/or directing the work of others.
• 1 year experience with POS/cash handling responsibilities in related industry.
• Shift Leads must be available three days a week or more to meet business needs (early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays).
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older; able to perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with focus and clarity, manage task deployment, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences by engaging customers and maintaining high product quality and a welcoming coffeebar.
• Support a positive team environment through clear communication, collaboration, accountability and reliability.
• Ensure operational excellence by handling opening/closing routines, cash handling, inventory tasks, and visual updates.
• Embrace change by developing skills, adapting to priorities, and using problem-solving to keep shifts running smoothly.
