Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including startup of required systems and cash handling.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops, and provide change at registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers by greeting and assisting with products/services; resolve issues for a positive experience.
• Coaches team on customer service best practices and Walgreens service traits.
• Hold store keys to open/close when management is not present; assist with vendor deliveries.
• Register sales, record scanning errors, price verifications, and voids; review order exceptions.
• Assist in displays, promotions, and resets; manage inventory counts and stock rotation.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and signage; execute local regulatory pricing tasks as needed.
• Assist with bookkeeping (cash reports, counts, ledgers) and basic store maintenance.
• Maintain store cleanliness and conditions; coordinate repairs with manager coverage.
• Support separation of food items and ensure stock rotation using FIFO.
• Knowledge of store systems and equipment; assist at Pharmacy out window as requested.
• Comply with laws on regulated products; verify bag checks for team members.
• Adhere to all policies; complete special tasks as assigned; participate in training.
• Communicate tasks to team in manager's absence; report disciplinary issues and customer complaints.
• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager.
