Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate to help open and close the store in the absence of management and to handle essential cash procedures. You will greet customers, assist with products, and resolve issues to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

You will also support inventory accuracy, pricing tasks, displays, and back-room operations while maintaining compliant store conditions and delivering Walgreens service traits daily.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management and handles required cash start-up procedures.
• Manages cash handling, returns, refunds, and cash drops to the safe; provides change as needed.
• Delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience and assists customers with products and services.
• Engages customers, greets them, and resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Models customer service best practices and communicates tasks when store management is unavailable.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and supports pricing, signage, and promotions.
