Job summary

Walgreens in Columbia Township, MO is seeking a capable team member to support store operations and customer experience. You will open/close the store when management is absent, handle cash and backroom tasks, assist with vendor deliveries, and ensure pricing and displays are up to date.

You'll engage customers, resolve issues, maintain inventory accuracy, assist with shelf replenishment, and support the pharmacy/out window as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or key-holder retail experience.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• Obtains and maintains PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management and handles required cash operations.
• Completes returns, voids, refunds, cash drops, and provides change.
• Models and delivers a distinctive customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients, assists with products and services, and resolves issues.
• Communicates tasks to team members when management is not present and reports issues to management.
• Maintains accurate inventory, pricing, and signage; assists with displays and merchandising.
• Performs basic bookkeeping, cash handling, and maintains clean store conditions.
