Job summary

ZippyApp - Recruitment Marketing in Yazoo City, MS seeks a Shift Leader to direct daily store activities in the absence of the Store Manager. You will open and close the store, protect assets, monitor performance, and support the management team to maintain store conditions and safety.

You will handle front-end procedures, cash handling, transactions, gift cards, and cash drops, and ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to train and supervise store team members.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and across departments.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store according to procedures.
• Direct and monitor day-to-day activities of full/part-time staff.
• Communicate with customers in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Resolve exchanges and refunds; document complaints and follow up.
• Perform cash handling, till prep, cash drops, and gift card sales/returns.
• Complete electronic store reports and conduct bag/video checks.
• Act as cashier when needed and escalate issues to Store Manager.
• Ensure health, safety, sanitation, loss prevention, and store standards.
• May participate in panel interviews but cannot hire.
• Perform duties in other departments as assigned.
