Job summary

Sapp Bros. is hiring Shift Leads to oversee daily operations and guest service at our Cheyenne locations. You will lead the team, ensure a clean, inviting store, handle shifts, and resolve guest issues with five-star service.

You will also assist with meetings, vendor coordination, merchandising, and safety standards to maintain our quality travel center experience. Prior supervisory experience is preferred and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• Past supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willingness and ability to learn.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background and employment reference check.

Responsibilities

• Greets every guest with a smile and thanks them for their business.
• Walks the store daily and identifies opportunities and plans to fix them.
• Assist and direct other team members during the shift.
• Operates a point-of-sale cash register.
• Facilitates pre-shift meetings and attends regular team meetings.
• Checks in vendors and signs for gas/diesel deliveries.
• Plan and create five-star merchandise displays.
• Restock items on shelves, deli bar, coolers, and freezers.
• Maintain a safe, clean store by cleaning restrooms, showers, and store areas.
• Order merchandise and supplies.
• Empower to handle customer issues from all departments with five-star service and urgency.
• Assist with scheduling staff and seasonal coverage with Store/GM oversight.
• Support QSR programs to ensure proper coverage during peak times.
• Help manage maintenance/janitorial to keep the travel centers clean.
