Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate to open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash, assist with vendor deliveries, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.

You will deliver a distinctive customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and supporting inventory, pricing, and store maintenance while adhering to company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including cash handling and ensuring readiness for the business day.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change to cash registers as requested.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and assisting with products and services; resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Hold store keys to open/close without management when necessary; assist with vendor deliveries and backroom processes.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and pricing signage; assist with stock placement and rotation; support store maintenance and cleanliness.
