The Kroger Co. is seeking a Store Supervisor in Greenfield, WI to backup the department manager and oversee daily operations in their absence.

You will master SOPs including merchandising, scheduling, and customer service while upholding Kroger's values of respect, integrity, and safety. Responsibilities include ensuring proper staffing, supervising product handling, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Friendly, approachable and outgoing demeanor/team player.
• Sound judgement/decision making.
• Strong math skills (discounts, proportions, percentages).
• Basic algebra and geometry skills for measurements.

Responsabilidades

• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers.
• Welcome, serve and assist customers to provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure proper staffing to address service levels and efficient utilization of labor.
• Operate equipment according to company guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with customers and respond to questions promptly.
• Ensure opening/closing procedures follow SOPs.
• Adhere to SOPs for storage and dating of products.
• Complete price changes and in-store transfers in the manager's absence.
• Remove and dispose of unsellable product.
• Follow merchandising guidelines, signage, and packaging.
• Monitor temperatures and placement of products to maintain freshness.
• Oversee portion control to meet SOPs.
• Ensure receiving procedures are followed in the manager's absence.
• Proof, bake, glaze, top, and thaw products per SOPs.
• Stocking duties and correct stock placement.
• Follow company and department policies and SOPs.
• Comply with food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations; report unsafe conditions.
