Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate to support daily operations, deliver excellent customer service, and help manage inventory and pricing. You will open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash and register transactions, assist with deliveries, and ensure displays and stock are ready for the business day.

You will engage customers, resolve questions, and uphold service standards. A minimum of one year in a supervisory or key holder role and fluent English are required.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Ensures floor and stock room are ready for the business day and opens back door for deliveries.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients, greets them, offers assistance, resolves issues, and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Reports disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and ensures proper pricing and signage.
• Assists with store maintenance, displays, and basic department pricing as required.
