Walgreens Co. is hiring for a store associate role focused on leadership, customer service, and operations. The position requires opening/closing the store in management's absence, cash handling, refunds, and ensuring a welcoming, helpful customer experience.

Responsibilities include mentoring team members, assisting with vendor deliveries, inventory, pricing accuracy, and maintaining store conditions. A year of relevant leadership and a valid pharmacy license or PTCB certification are preferred.

Competenze

• One year or more of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
• Preferred knowledge of store inventory control.
• We will consider applicants with arrest/convictions as allowed by law.

Mansioni

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management and handles required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes cash drops, refunds, and changes on registers; ensures proper pricing and scanning accuracy.
• Delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience and provides proactive service.
• Serves as liaison between management and team by assigning tasks when management is absent.
• Assists with vendor deliveries, backdoor access, and overall store maintenance and displays.
• Monitors inventory, back stock, and shelf replenishment; maintains store appearance and pricing signage.
• Supports pharmacy operations as requested, including outreach through the front window.
• Ensures compliance with state/local laws on regulated products and performs bag checks.
