Job summary

Walgreens in Placentia, CA is seeking an energetic team member to support store operations and customer service. You will open and close the store in the manager's absence, handle cash and sales transactions, and assist with inventory and pricing accuracy.

You will greet customers, answer questions, and ensure a delightful shopping experience. As part of the team, you will help with vendor deliveries, shelf resets, and basic maintenance while upholding company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and start-ups.
• Completes returns, refunds, cash drops, and provides change at cash registers.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assists with and coaches other team members to work with warehouse and vendor ordering, including backdoor deliveries.
• Registers all related sales on assigned cash register, including handling scanning errors and price verifications.
• Assists in evaluating order exceptions and reverse logistics, displays, pricing tasks and basic merchandising.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and store cleanliness; supports pricing signage and compliance.
