Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an associate to open and close the store in management's absence, perform system start-ups, handle cash and customer transactions, and ensure stockrooms and floors are ready for the day. You will assist with vendor deliveries and maintain accurate pricing and displays to enhance the shopper experience.

Responsibilities include handling returns and refunds, keeping inventory accurate, and supporting bookkeeping and backroom operations.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Knowledge of store operations and cash handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management and perform required system start-ups and cash handling.
• Handle returns, refunds, voids, cash drops, and provide change.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience and assist customers proactively.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with pricing, displays, and backroom organization.
• Assist with vendor deliveries via backdoor and participate in backroom operations.
• Assist with bookkeeping tasks and cash reports as needed.
• Support pharmacy window operations as requested.
• Ensure compliance with state/local regulations for regulated products.
