Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or retail key holder role.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Experience with store systems and equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management, handling start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive experience, including etiquette and proactive service.
• Holds store keys to open/close without management, and assists with warehouse/vendor ordering and deliveries.
• Registers all related sales on assigned cash register, including handling scanning errors, price verifications, and voids.
• Reviews order exceptions on release day and assists in reverse logistics (returns, etc.).
• Assists in evaluating displays and completing resets, promotions, and price signage as required.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and on-hand quantities across departments and stockroom.
• Ensures Outdate program is followed with the team.
• Performs basic pricing tasks and ensures signage reflects local pricing rules.
• Assists with bookkeeping activities such as cash reports and ledgers.
• Supports maintenance of store appearance and requests repairs as needed.
• Separates food items safely and manages stock rotation; uses FIFO for restocks.
• Keeps working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Assists at Pharmacy out window when requested.
• Complies with laws on regulated products (e.g., alcohol and tobacco).
• Performs bag checks of team members before leaving the store.
• Follows company policies and maintains respectful coworker relationships.
• Completes special assignments as requested.
