Job summary

Walgreens in Largo, FL is seeking an associate to open and close the store when management is not present, run required system start-ups, perform cash handling, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day, including opening the back door for deliveries.

You will engage customers and patients, greet them, answer questions, process returns, refunds, and price changes, maintain inventory accuracy, assist with displays and merchandising, and support basic bookkeeping and store

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy licence as required by state.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management, including system start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and pricing; assists with display updates and price changes.
• Assists with basic bookkeeping activities and store maintenance tasks; supports backroom operations and vendor deliveries.
