Job summary

Walgreens in Lakewood, Colorado seeks a motivated team member to open and close the store when management is unavailable, handle cash, and prepare the floor and stock room for the business day.

You will assist customers, manage returns, refunds, cash drops, and support inventory, pricing, displays, and basic store systems. A year of leadership or key-holder experience and English fluency are expected; certification for pharmacy roles may be required.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and required systems start-ups.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers all sales on assigned cash register with records of scanning errors, price verifications, and voids.
• Assists with vendor deliveries and backdoor access for deliveries.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and pricing signage; supports displays and stock rotations.
