Job summary

Walgreens in Kitty Hawk, NC is seeking a hands-on associate for store operations and customer experience. You will open/close the store in the absence of management, handle cash and transactions, and help ensure floor and stock room readiness for business days.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, and support vendor deliveries, pricing, inventory, and displays. Prior leadership experience and pharmacy certification/licence as required by state are expected.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• We will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
• PTCB certification or pharmacy licence as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling; opens back door for deliveries.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change at registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and assisting with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Keeps store keys to open/close when management is not present and supports vendor order processes.
• Registers all sales, tracks scanning errors, price verifications, and voids; assists with order exceptions and returns flow.
• Assists with displays, pricing changes, inventory counts, and stock rotation; maintains store cleanliness and appearance.
• Supports pharmacy out window as requested and adheres to laws for regulated products.
