Job summary

Walgreens in Katy, TX is seeking a store associate to help open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business. You will assist with deliveries, returns, refunds, and price changes, while delivering a friendly, distinctive customer experience.

You will work with the team to maintain inventory accuracy, support displays and merchandising, and help with basic store operations, including signage and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to obtain pharmacy certification/licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management and ensures readiness for the business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops, and provides change to registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assists with deliveries through back door access and vendor coordination.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and supports pricing/signage updates.
• Supports merchandising, displays, resets, and basic housekeeping.
