Job summary

Walgreens Co. is hiring for a Store Associate who will open and close the store in the absence of store management, handle cash, and ensure floors and stockrooms are ready for business.

You will also assist with vendor deliveries and price adjustments while maintaining compliance with store policies. Engaging customers, resolving issues, and delivering a distinctive Walgreens customer experience are core to this role.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Arrest and conviction records may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including all required systems start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting and assisting with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Responsible for holding store keys to open and close without management as necessary.
• Assists with vendor deliveries and backdoor openings for deliveries.
