Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including required cash handling and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves customer issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Coaches team members on customer service best practices to deliver a high-quality Walgreens experience.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and proper pricing signage; assists with displays and stock organization.
• Assists with bookkeeping activities, cash reports, ledgers, and bill payment as needed.
• Ensures compliance with state and local laws for regulated products and bag checks of team members.
