NOXX in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is seeking a motivated Shift Lead to oversee daily store operations, supervise budtenders, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve operational and customer issues promptly and professionally.

The successful candidate will lead by example, maintain compliance with company and industry standards, and help foster a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail, hospitality, or customer service experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and ensure smooth workflow during assigned shifts.
• Manage time clock issues and assign daily tasks to budtenders.
• Supervise and guide budtenders to ensure high-quality customer service.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring new staff members.
• Monitor inventory handling and accuracy during shifts.
• Handle escalated customer concerns or complaints professionally.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and uphold company/store standards.
• Perform drawer counts, cash drops, and shift-end reconciliations accurately.
• Oversee cleanliness, organization, and merchandising of the sales floor.
• Provide shift handoff notes to incoming leads/managers.
• Report incidents, compliance concerns, or operational issues promptly.
