Job summary

Philz Coffee is seeking a Team Lead (Shift Supervisor) to supervise daily shifts, motivate a dynamic team, and uphold our service and drink quality. You’ll help create a welcoming atmosphere and mentor baristas, embodying Philz Core Values.

Previous supervisory experience in fast-paced food and beverage is preferred; training is provided for barista skills. The role offers a base hourly rate of $22.55–$24.55 plus a tip pool averaging $6 per hour, with medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.

Responsibilities

• Win over customers by leading your team to great service and drink quality.
• Put the right people in the right places at the right times.
• Handcraft beverages alongside your Barista team.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and the local community.
• Assess team performance and ensure adherence to shifts and breaks.
• Communicate performance to Store Leaders and Shift Supervisors for consistency.
• Support promotions and new hires through in-store training.
• Assist Store Leader with operations and administrative duties.
• Lead safety program implementation and maintenance.
