Job summary

Del Taco is seeking a Shift Manager to support store operations and help deliver a guest-focused experience. You will assist the General Manager in training the team, managing shifts, and upholding company policies and procedures to drive growth and performance.

You will lead a team, coordinate daily operations, and ensure quality, safety, and a positive work environment. This role emphasizes leadership, schedule adherence, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in quick service restaurant environment with demonstrated ability to ensure guest satisfaction and provide training.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff to achieve goals.
• Knowledge of POS systems and basic business math.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team and support the General Manager in delivering quality service and product preparation.
• Run shifts and ensure adherence to company policies, programs, and systems.
• Maintain knowledge of all station functions and related processes.
• Provide leadership, training and development to the restaurant team.
• Assist in staffing decisions such as interviews and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with laws and company standards.
