Levain Bakery is seeking a Shift Lead to oversee daily bakery operations, supervise the team, and ensure exceptional customer service. You will open and close the store, handle cash, and maintain Levain’s high standards for product quality and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of food service, QSR, or retail experience; supervisory exp preferred
• Open availability: mornings, nights, weekends, holidays
• Ability to lift/push 25-50 pounds
• Stand/walk 8 hours; stairs may be required
• Read and communicate in English (verbal & written)
• Basic computer skills (Email, Microsoft Office)
• Must have valid DOH Certification and regional food handler certifications

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and supervise team members; set a positive tone
• Oversee daily tasks, fulfill orders accurately, ensure food safety standards
• Open/close bakery; act as keyholder; oversee cash handling and deposits
• Maintain Levain Bakery’s quality standards and customer service
• Delegate tasks for cleaning, restocking, and organization
• Provide coaching and feedback to improve performance
