Levain Bakery is hiring in Chicago for a leadership-focused role within our fast-paced bakery storefront. You will supervise shifts, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure daily operations run smoothly while upholding Levain Bakery’s standards.

The role requires 2+ years in food service with supervisory experience, strong English communication, and familiarity with Toast POS. We offer competitive hourly pay with tips and bonus potential, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in food service, QSR, or retail with supervisory experience preferred
• Open availability for mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to lift 25–50 pounds and stand for an 8-hour shift

Responsibilities

• Lead with curiosity and care for coworkers; build meaningful connections
• Set shift tone with a positive, can-do attitude
• Mentor teammates through feedback and coaching to improve performance
• Ensure high-quality customer service and brand standards
