Job summary

Buffalo Rock Company is seeking a Warehouse Shift Lead for the Central Hub in Birmingham, AL. The role oversees the automated case picking system, ensures on-time dispatch, and maintains safety and quality standards.

You will train EPs, enforce SOPs, coordinate loading and dock operations, and work with cross-functional teams to hit daily targets and KPI while supporting a culture of safety and continuous improvement. This position is on-site at the Central Hub.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; additional education in distribution/logistics preferred.
• Experience leading warehouse teams and coordinating operations in a fast-paced environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of automated case picking system and ensure timely order dispatch.
• Lead Vertique System Operations and the loading team; provide guidance and supervise Employee-Partners.
• Train new and current EPs on SOPs and ensure team is up to date with training.
• Enforce GMPs, housekeeping, and safety standards across Central Hub.
• Coordinate loading activities and dock operations; monitor schedules and efficiency.
• Collaborate with shift leads and cross-functional teams to meet daily targets and KPI.
• Promote safety and quality, perform reporting, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
