Qualifications

• Must be able to read product packaging and communicate in English via radio.

Responsibilities

• Regular and timely attendance is required; shift hours include nights, weekends and holidays.
• Fill discharge conveyors of one cell tower with thirty lanes.
• Keep all conveyor lanes full, with correct product as dictated by the lighting system.
• Load into discharge conveyors only good-condition product; keep rollers free of debris.
• Follow the lighting system priorities; keep GREEN lights and chase RED lights.
• Keep lanes free of jams and pull empty pallets, damaged product and shrink wrap to collection areas.
• Communicate with forklift operators and system operators via radio throughout shift on status of the tower lanes.
• Identify need and assist other tower areas when appropriate.
• Recycle operations—sort and dispose of damaged items in respective bins; log damaged items for removal from inventory.
• Sanitation—maintain cleanliness of equipment and building; keep floors clean and dry; mop as needed.
