Job summary

Buffalo Rock Company, headquartered in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Forklift Operator (Loading) for the Central Hub. This role ensures accurate and efficient loading of routes and smooth material flow through the Vertique system.

The position requires operating multiple forklift types, performing inspections, and coordinating with the Warehouse Supervisor. Experience with RF scanners and WMS is preferred, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork in a fast-paced beverage distribution

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• Must have at least 1 year in a warehouse environment and 1 year as a forklift operator.
• Experience with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (stand-up and sit-down) safely to load routes.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of power equipment using InfoLink system.
• Load/unload trailers; verify correct routing, sequence and container ID.
• Move products to/from backstock, register transactions in the WMS.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and comply with GMPs and SOPs.
