O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support store management in delivering exceptional customer service, store operations, and shift leadership in the absence of managers. Responsibilities include supervising service levels, processing orders, handling returns, and performing opening/closing duties, while ensuring policy adherence and accurate invoicing.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience preferred, automotive setting ideal.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair desirable.
• ASE Certification encouraged.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to deliver exceptional customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service levels and execute programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Answer phone per policy and ensure timely processing of buy online/ship to store, transfers, and DC add orders.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and accurately.
• Process returns, issue refunds, and stage merchandise correctly for resale.
• Ensure correct invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Manage adherence to posted schedules and clocking in/out procedures.
• Perform opening/closing duties and bank procedures; secure store overnight.
