Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Managers in sales, service, store appearance and operations. This role will assume shift management in the absence of supervisors and will encourage bilingual applicants.

The position emphasizes delivering outstanding customer service to both retail and professional customers, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
• Retail sales experience desired, preferably in auto parts

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensure programs execution.
• Answer telephone per company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds correctly, stage returned merchandise.
• Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure staff comply with posted schedules and clock in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, secure money deposits, and manage safes and security.
