Five Guys in Haymarket, VA is hiring a Shift Leader to run day-to-day operations on busy shifts. You will lead by example, work alongside crew, and ensure every guest walks away impressed.

This hands-on role requires 1-2 years in restaurant or hospitality, strong communication, calm decision-making, and basic math with POS skills. Real growth opportunities await those who deliver great service and build a positive culture.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and step in to run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Jump into every position - cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room - no task is too small.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience every time.
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and build a strong, positive culture.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
