Job summary

Five Guys is seeking a Shift Leader in Miami to guide daily operations, coach crew, and ensure top guest experiences on every shift.

You will cover multiple roles—from cashier to grill—and lead by doing in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Growth opportunities exist as leaders move into higher roles within the company.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred)
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and step in to run operations when management is not on site
• Jump into every position - cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room - no task is too small
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience every time
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best
• Help train new team members and build a strong, positive culture
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Someone who leads by doing - not just directing
• Ability to stay cool and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and comfort using POS systems
