Job summary

Five Guys is seeking a Shift Leader in Santa Fe to guide daily operations, mentor crew, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You’ll work hands-on on every station and help drive a fast, friendly service environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in hospitality, strong communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while leading by example. Competitive pay starts at $16.25/hour plus tips and bonus, with growth opportunities across the brand.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• Strong communication and team-focused mindset.
• Able to lead by doing, not just directing.
• Comfort with POS systems and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Jump into every position—cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and a great guest experience.
• Coach and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and build a positive culture.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
