Job summary

Five Guys is seeking a Shift Leader to guide operations and deliver outstanding guest experiences on every shift. You will lead by example, supervise a hands-on team, and ensure quick, friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• Strong communication and team leadership abilities.
• Comfort with quick decision-making in fast-paced environments.
• Basic math skills and experience with POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when management isn't on site.
• Fill all front-line roles including cashier, grill, prep, and dining room.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and guest experiences.
• Coach and motivate crew to perform at their best.
• Assist training of new team members and foster a strong culture.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks such as breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
