Job summary

Five Guys in Pleasant Prairie, WI is seeking a Shift Leader to guide operations during busy shifts. You’ll lead by example, work side-by-side with your team, and ensure every guest walks out impressed.

This hands-on role covers cash handling, grill, prep, fries, and dining room duties. You’ll mentor crew, train new hires, maintain brand standards, and help drive a fast-paced, high-energy service culture.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Leads by example and stays calm in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Jump into every position—cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room—no task is too small.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience every time.
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and build a strong, positive culture.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
