Jersey Mike's in Huntsville, AL is seeking a part-time Shift Leader to oversee daily operations in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring smooth and efficient shifts.

You will lead a small crew (2–5 team members), demonstrate strong menu knowledge, open and close tasks, and communicate effectively with guests and staff while maintaining reliability.

This role includes opportunities for training, growth, and the company's Early Pay Benefit in a fast-paced dining environment.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience, preferably as a shift lead.
• Ability to work 2 morning (opening) and 2 night (closing) shifts.
• Proven ability to multi-task and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Position Summary

The Shift Leader oversees daily operations in the absence of the General and Assistant General Manager, ensuring smooth and efficient shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong menu and product knowledge.
• Lead and manage a team of 2-5 crew members during shifts.
• Act as a key holder and perform opening and closing tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing effective communication with guests and team members.
• Participate in training programs and continuously develop skills.
• Maintain reliability and adherence to scheduling requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience, preferably as a shift lead
