Jersey Mike's Subs in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Part-Time Shift Leader to support daily operations and guest service during shifts. The role involves supervising a small crew and ensuring smooth opening or closing tasks.

You will lead 2–5 team members, showcase product knowledge, and maintain reliability with schedules. Must have at least 1 year restaurant experience, be 18+, and be able to work mornings and evenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year restaurant experience, preferably as a shift lead.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work 2 morning and 2 night shifts.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Position Summary

The Shift Leader oversees daily operations in the absence of the General and Assistant General Manager, ensuring smooth and efficient shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong menu and product knowledge.
• Lead and manage a team of 2-5 crew members during shifts.
• Act as a key holder and perform opening and closing tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing effective communication with guests and team members.
