Job summary

Trinity Services Group is hiring a Food Service Supervisor (Shift Supervisor) to prepare and serve a variety of meals inside a jail/correctional facility. You will report to a Food Service Director and supervise inmate labor during kitchen shifts, ensuring recipes and safety standards are followed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• ServSafe Food Handler certification preferred.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and/or kitchen staff during food prep and service.
• Assist in the preparation of various food items following standards and recipes.
• Follow facility housekeeping and safety practices in all meal preparations.
• Perform other duties as determined by needs.
