Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Shift Bakery Manager to work alongside the Bakery Manager and team. You will help deliver outstanding guest experiences, oversee cake production, and ensure NbC standards in food safety, merchandising, and daily operations.

You will coach, schedule, and support payroll/expense controls, while coordinating special orders and community events to reinforce our brand. This role demands leadership and a hands-on approach to bakery duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
•  
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in retail/food service, preferably with lead responsibilities.
•  
• Experience coaching others to deliver a superior guest experience and achieve productivity goals.
•  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable learning new tech.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes guest experience and models superior engagement.
• Partners with Bakery Manager in leading all aspects of guest experience, cake production, etc.
• Supports Bakery Manager in recruiting, training, directing daily work, and coaching.
• Ensures food safety, cleanliness, and adherence to NbC policies.
• Assists in operational/admin tasks including scheduling, inventory, and payroll.
• Co-manages special orders via web/email for individuals and corporate accounts.
