Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and prior security experience required.
• Must have NYS Security Guard License, current 8 Hour Annual Certificate. Fire Guard License (F02).
• Certified in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of all clients’ rooms.
• Escort clients to appointments as needed.
• Control access at the main entrance by screening clients and visitors.
• Make hourly rounds throughout the facility and monitor activity.
• Respond to incidents and document all actions taken.
• Monitor video surveillance and assist with intake and admin tasks.
