Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Excellent people skills and customer service experience.
• 1 year in residential setting or 2 years in customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and take direction.
• Individuals who are formerly homeless encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work in a team and with diverse people.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Orient guests to the facility and assist with assignments.
• Create a welcoming environment for guests.
• Implement trauma-informed care practices.
• Use de-escalation to manage conflicts.
• Manage weekend/evening phone line.
• Escort guests within facility as needed.
• Monitor guest safety and security.
• Maintain logs and incident reports.
• Support inclusion for LGBTQ and other vulnerable communities.
• Participate in trainings and required courses.
• Assist with entry and medication logs with LPNs.
