Job summary

The Lord’s Place is seeking an Emergency Shelter Supervisor to oversee all service delivery at the emergency shelter satellite location. You will coordinate referrals, intake, and transitions to permanent housing while supervising staff and ensuring program compliance.

Responsibilities include monitoring participant engagement, maintaining a safe facility, and representing the program at community events to enhance service delivery and housing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or similar field, or equivalent years of experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Computer skills, including basic office software, are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide programmatic and operational oversight of shelter services.
• Coordinate intake and referrals, ensuring effective placement of clients.
• Supervise case management and peer-support staff.
• Ensure program compliance with shelter policies and housing requirements.
• Maintain safe, clean facilities and monitor health and safety inspections.
• Represent the program at community meetings and partner with external agencies.
