Job summary

CAMBA in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee on-site operations at the Kensington Family Shelter. The role focuses on maintaining client confidentiality, regulatory compliance, and smooth daily program delivery, coordinating with DHS and on-site staff to handle incidents and reporting.

You will ensure safe, structured services for homeless families and contribute to overall shelter operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four years of applicable experience.
• Computer literacy in MS Office.
• Bi-lingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with clients and protect confidentiality.
• Fulfill mandated reporter responsibilities under NYS law and CAMBA policies.
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure program operations.
• Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for DHS and visitors.
• Ensure timely and accurate shift reports and communications.
