Job summary

CAMBA is hiring a Shift Supervisor for the Broadway House Women’s Shelter in Brooklyn. This full-time role focuses on supervising daily operations, ensuring client safety and care, and maintaining strict confidentiality and security standards.

The position requires a HS Diploma or GED with experience, or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree with related experience. Bi-lingual candidates are preferred; CPR/First Aid and other certifications are required on hire.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 3 years applicable experience.
• Associate’s degree with 2 years applicable experience may substitute for experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with clients and client confidentiality.
• Input client data using DHS CARES database as needed.
• Ensure on-site safety and provide supervisory coverage during shifts.
• Coordinate day-to-day shift operations and client care services.
• Respond to complaints, incidents, and emergencies with documentation.
• Ensure security and privacy policies are followed at all times.
• Conduct initial intake or assessments and engage community resources.
